JACKSONVILLE, FL, November 22, 2011 -- Florida East Coast Railway (FEC) is pleased to once again announce its sponsorship of a Toys for Tots Christmas Train, riding on the FEC rail line between Jacksonville and Miami on Saturday, December 10, 2011. 

Florida East Coast to add Valdosta, Ga., to relay rail network

Florida East Coast Railway Co. (FEC) said today it would add Valdosta, Ga., to its so-called relay rail network, which allows truckers to drop off trailerloads with the FEC and have the railroad, rather than the truckers, transport the freight down the Florida peninsula to Miami. The expansion will take place early next year, the railroad said.

Florida East Coast Railway L.L.C. (FEC) recently received the Doral Business Council’s 2011 International Business of the Year Award for playing a “pivotal role in strengthening south Florida’s stature” as a global international trade hub, FEC officials said in a prepared statement.
